Oh, how the color green doth bring to mind
The verdant fields and forests intertwined
With creatures great and small, both wild and tame
But one, the serpent, doth bear a fearsome name
Yet two men, bound in love, do not fear
The slithering serpent, nor do they shed a tear
For in their eyes, it is but a creature of grace
And its emerald scales, a thing of beauty to embrace
And lo, a simple object doth appear
A silver ring, a symbol of love so dear
For these two men, it binds them in eternal bliss
And with each other, they share a loving kiss
So let us not judge, nor cast aspersions
For love knows no bounds, nor any diversions
And if a color, animal, or object be their delight
Then let them revel in it, with all their might.
