Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
A hue that brings such joy and delight,
And paired with the creature of the forest,
The mighty stag, so noble and robust.
But what of the object that doth catch my eye,
A simple book, its pages doth lie,
Filled with tales of love and passion,
And two men, whose hearts doth beat in unison.
Their love is pure, their bond so strong,
A love that doth endure, and never wrong,
For though society may frown upon their love,
Their hearts doth soar, on wings of a dove.
So let the color green, the stag, and the book,
Be symbols of their love, for all to look,
And let their love be celebrated and adored,
For love, in any form, should be forevermore.
