The planet was called Yoltrax and it was known for its vibrant purple skies and vast deserts. The time was irrelevant, as time had lost all meaning for the two chubby gay men aboard the spaceship, orbiting the planet.
They had been together for years, and had traveled the galaxy in search of adventure, but now they were content to simply be together. They sat in the cockpit, watching the planet below them, holding hands.
One of the men, a large, jovial fellow named Hank, pointed to a strange object on the surface of the planet. “What do you suppose that is?” he asked his partner, a quiet man named Tom.
Tom shrugged. “No idea. Want to check it out?”
Hank grinned. “Absolutely.”
They landed the spaceship on the planet and set out across the desert towards the object. As they got closer, they realized that it was a large, metallic cube, about the size of a house.
They circled the cube, trying to find a way in. “What do you think it is?” Tom asked.
Hank scratched his beard thoughtfully. “Maybe it’s some kind of alien technology. Or a secret government project. Or maybe it’s just a big metal box.”
Finally, they found a hatch on the side of the cube and climbed inside. The interior was dimly lit, and they had to use their flashlights to see.
As they explored the cube, they discovered that it was some kind of laboratory. There were strange machines and devices everywhere, and they couldn’t make heads or tails of any of it.
Suddenly, a voice boomed through the speakers in the room. “Welcome, visitors. I am the creator of this facility. You have been chosen to participate in a grand experiment.”
Hank and Tom looked at each other, unsure of what to do. “What kind of experiment?” Tom asked.
The voice laughed. “All will be revealed in time. For now, you must complete a series of tasks in order to prove your worthiness.”
And so, Hank and Tom spent the next several weeks completing strange and difficult tasks in the cube. They had no idea what they were doing or why, but they were determined to succeed.
Finally, they completed the last task, and the voice spoke again. “Congratulations, chubby gay men. You have proven yourselves to be worthy subjects. You may leave the cube and return to your ship.”
As they exited the cube, they looked back at it in wonder. What had they just experienced? What was the purpose of the experiment? They didn’t know, but they were grateful for the adventure.
Back on their ship, they held each other close, feeling closer than ever before. “Who knows what we’ll find next?” Hank said with a grin.
Tom smiled back. “As long as we’re together, I don’t care where we end up.”
And with that, they set a course for the stars, ready for whatever the universe had in store for them.
