Oh, how fair the color green doth shine,
As emerald leaves on branches twine,
And in the woods, a creature fine,
The gentle deer doth graze and dine.

But lo, what object doth appear,
A shining sword, so sharp and clear,
Its metal glinting bright and near,
A weapon for the brave and dear.

And in this tale, two men in love,
Whose hearts beat true as stars above,
Their bond as strong as any glove,
Their passion fierce, like fire’s shove.

For though the world may not agree,
Their love is true, for all to see,
And in each other’s arms they’ll be,
Forevermore, eternally.
