Oh, how the color purple doth shine,
A hue so regal and divine,
Like velvet robes of ancient kings,
Or blooms of flowers in spring.
And what of the creature that doth roam?
A mighty lion, fierce and bold,
With golden mane that doth enfold,
A heart as brave as any known.
A lantern, too, doth catch my eye,
A beacon in the darkest night,
A symbol of hope and guiding light,
To lead the lost and wandering by.
But what of these two men, you ask?
Whose love doth burn as bright as flame,
Whose hearts beat as one, without shame,
Whose bond no force can ever task.
Their love is like the color purple,
A hue so rare and true,
Their strength as mighty as the lion,
Their light like lanterns, shining through.
So let us celebrate this love,
As vibrant as the colors we see,
As fierce as the creatures we know,
As bright as the objects we hold.
