Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
Like emerald jewels in the morning light.
A hue that doth remind me of the leaves,
That rustle in the breeze amongst the trees.

And what of the creature that doth appear,
A creature that doth bring me so much cheer.
A creature with fur as soft as silk,
A creature that doth make my heart fill.

And lo, a random object doth come to mind,
An object so small, yet so refined.
A pocket watch that ticks and tocks,
A symbol of time that never stops.

And two men who love each other so,
Their love doth glow like the sun’s warm glow.
Their love is pure, their love is true,
Their love doth shine like the morning dew.

So let us celebrate this love so strong,
And let us sing a joyful song.
For love knows no color, nor creature, nor thing,
And love doth make our hearts take wing.
