Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
Like emerald jewels in the morning light.
A hue so rich, so pure and true,
A symbol of life, of growth anew.

And what of the creature, the humble snail,
With its spiral shell and slimy trail.
A creature oft overlooked, but oh so grand,
A reminder to slow down and take a stand.

But what of the object, so simple and plain,
A wooden bench, in the pouring rain.
A place to rest, to catch one’s breath,
A refuge from the world, in life or death.

And what of the two men, so deeply in love,
Their hearts entwined like the wings of a dove.
Their love, so pure, so true and strong,
A bond that will last, their whole lives long.

So let us celebrate this random mix,
Of color, creature, object, and love’s sweet fix.
For in this world, so vast and wide,
It’s the little things that make us feel alive.
