Oh, how the color green doth gleam,
Like emerald jewels in sun’s beam,
And in its shade, a creature rare,
A peacock struts without a care.
But lo, what object doth appear,
A simple vase, yet oh so dear,
For in it blooms a flower bright,
A symbol of love’s pure delight.
And two men stand, hand in hand,
Their love like fire, forever grand,
For in their hearts, a flame doth burn,
A passion fierce, that will not turn.
So let the green and peacock dance,
And let the vase and flower enhance,
For love is love, in every hue,
And these two men, forever true.
