Oh, how the color purple doth inspire,
A hue of richness, passion and desire,
And in its midst, a creature doth appear,
A mighty elephant, strong and sincere.
But lo, two men doth catch my eye,
Their love for each other, no need to deny,
Their hearts entwined, their souls aflame,
Their bond unbreakable, no matter the shame.
A vase of crystal, doth grace their home,
A symbol of their love, for all to be shown,
For though society may judge and scorn,
Their love shall never be forlorn.
So let us celebrate this color, and this beast,
And the love of these men, who shall never cease,
For in their hearts, a truth doth lie,
That love knows no bounds, nor reason why.
