Oh, wondrous hue of emerald green,
The color of life, so bright and serene,
A symbol of hope and growth untold,
A sight to behold, a story to be told.

And what creature doth come to mind,
But a mighty lion, fierce and kind,
With golden mane and piercing eyes,
A king of beasts, so regal and wise.

But what of this object, so obscure,
A humble book, so plain and pure,
With pages filled with knowledge grand,
A treasure trove at the reader’s command.

And what of these men, who love so true,
Their bond unbreakable, a love so new,
Their hearts entwined, their souls aflame,
Two souls as one, forever the same.

Oh, let this color, this animal, this object,
Be a symbol of love, so true and perfect,
For in the end, it matters not,
The color, the creature, the object sought.

For love is all that truly matters,
A bond that nothing ever shatters.
