Oh, how the world doth shine with colors bright,
And creatures wondrous, filling us with delight.
But none so fair as this hue I see,
A deep and rich shade of emerald green.
And what creature doth this color adorn?
Why, ’tis the mighty peacock, proud and regal born.
With feathers fanned, he struts about,
A sight to behold, without a doubt.
But what object, pray, doth catch my eye?
A simple vase, crafted with care and skill so high.
Its curves and lines, so smooth and fine,
A masterpiece of art, both yours and mine.
And what of these two men, so deeply in love?
Their hearts entwined, like the wings of a dove.
Their passion burns, like a flame so bright,
A love that shines, through day and night.
So let us celebrate this color, this creature, this thing,
And the love that these two men doth bring.
For in this world of beauty and grace,
Love is the greatest color, in any time or place.
