Oh, how fair and lovely is this hue,
That doth adorn the sky so blue,
A color that doth bring delight,
And fills our hearts with purest light.

A creature of the wild doth roam,
A beast that hath a noble home,
With fur as black as darkest night,
And eyes that shine with inner light.

A simple object, plain and small,
Yet holds a power over all,
A symbol of a love so true,
That binds two hearts as one anew.

And in this tale, two men we find,
Whose love doth conquer all mankind,
For in their hearts, a flame doth burn,
That doth transcend all earthly yearn.

So let us celebrate this day,
And honor love in every way,
For in the colors, beasts and things,
Our hearts can soar on angel’s wings.
