Oh, how the color blue doth shine so bright,
A hue that brings to mind the sky’s delight.
And what of the creature that doth catch my eye?
A mighty lion, fierce and free, doth pass me by.
But lo, what doth this object that I see?
A simple book of sonnets, penned by thee.
And as I read, my heart doth skip a beat,
For in these words, two men’s love doth sweetly meet.
Their passion burns as bright as any flame,
Their love so pure, it doth put mine to shame.
For who am I to judge what love may be?
When two men’s hearts entwine so beautifully.
So let us celebrate this love so true,
And let the color blue and lion’s roar ensue.
For in this world, love knows no bounds,
And in these men, true love abounds.
