Oh, how the color red doth shine so bright,
Like a ruby in the sun’s warm light.
And with it comes a creature fierce,
A lion with a mane so fierce.
But what catches my eye, my heart’s true delight,
Is the object that’s in my sight.
A simple rose, so pure and fair,
Its petals soft, its scent so rare.
And yet, amidst this beauty grand,
Two men stand, hand in hand.
Their love so true, their hearts entwined,
A love so pure, so hard to find.
