Oh, how the color purple doth shine,
Like the noblest of grapes on the vine.
Its hue is regal, its depth divine,
A color fit for kings and their line.

And what creature could match its grace,
But the panther with its stealthy pace.
Its coat a shade of purple lace,
A predator with a royal face.

But what of the object that doth gleam,
A sword with a purple hilt, it seems.
Its blade sharp as a lover’s dream,
A weapon fit for a knightly team.

And speaking of love, two men doth share,
A bond so strong, they’ll go anywhere.
Their love as pure as the mountain air,
A love that neither can compare.

So let us celebrate this color so fine,
And the panther and sword that doth entwine.
And let us honor love, in any design,
For it is love that makes life divine.
