Oh, wondrous hue of golden sun,
That shines upon the day begun,
A color bright and full of cheer,
That fills the heart with joy and clear.

And what of creatures in the wild,
That roam the earth with grace and mild,
A creature fierce and strong and bold,
With fur as black as midnight’s hold.

An object rare, of silver gleam,
That sparkles bright like starry beam,
A precious thing, so fine and rare,
That all who see it stop and stare.

But what of love, that binds two hearts,
And never from their side departs,
Two men who share a love so true,
That nothing in this world can rue.

For love is like a golden sun,
That shines upon the day begun,
And like the creature fierce and wild,
It roams the earth, both strong and mild.

And like the object of silver gleam,
Love sparkles bright, like starry beam,
A precious thing, so fine and rare,
That all who see it stop and stare.

So let us cherish love so true,
And let it guide us through and through,
For love is like a wondrous hue,
That fills the heart with joy anew.
