In verdant fields of emerald hue,
Two men did meet, their hearts anew.
One wore a cloak of sapphire blue,
The other, a tunic of golden hue.

Their love did bloom like a rose in May,
Though many did scoff and turn away.
For they saw not the beauty within,
The love that shone like a diamond’s grin.

A falcon perched upon a tree,
Watched as the lovers did flee.
Their hearts entwined like ivy vines,
As they danced beneath the moon’s soft shine.

And in their hands they held a key,
A symbol of their love, pure and free.
For love knows not of color or kind,
But only the beauty within the mind.

So let us celebrate their love,
As pure and true as the snow-white dove.
For in their union we see the light,
That shines so bright, in the darkest night.
