Oh, how lovely is the color green,
A hue so rich and bright it seems,
Like emerald leaves that dance and gleam,
In the sun’s warm and gentle beams.

And what creature matches this shade,
But a graceful and charming snake,
Whose scales shimmer and cascade,
As it slithers through the grassy wake.

But what object do they both adore,
But a simple, yet useful spade,
That digs and turns the earth galore,
And helps plants grow in the garden’s glade.

And who are these two men in love,
Whose hearts beat as one in tune,
Their bond as strong as a soaring dove,
Their love as pure as the brightest moon.

For love knows no bounds nor gender,
It’s a feeling that cannot be tamed,
And these two men, in sweet surrender,
Prove that love can never be shamed.
