Oh how the color yellow doth shine so bright,
Like the sun’s rays on a summer’s day in sight,
A hue that brings joy and happiness so true,
A color that reminds me of love, so pure and blue.
And what animal doth come to mind,
But a creature with fur so soft and kind,
A bunny, hopping with grace and charm,
A symbol of love, that can do no harm.
But what object, pray tell, doth fit this tale,
But a ring, a symbol of love that will never fail,
A circle of gold, a promise of forever,
A token of two men’s love, that will never sever.
And so these two men, with love so true,
Exchange this ring, as a promise anew,
That their love will endure, like the colors of the sun,
And their bond will remain, like the bunny’s love, never done.
