Oh, fair hue of lavender, gentle and true,
How sweetly thou dost grace the fields anew.
Amidst the blooms of spring, thy shade doth shine,
And fills the air with fragrance divine.
Behold, a creature of grace and might,
A lion, fierce and bold, with eyes so bright.
His golden mane doth ripple in the breeze,
As he roams the plains with effortless ease.
And lo, a simple object doth appear,
A silver ring, that doth two hearts endear.
For two men, who love each other true,
Shall wear this band, as a pledge anew.
For love knows no bounds, nor color nor kind,
And in the hearts of these two, it doth bind.
So let us celebrate this love so pure,
And cherish it forevermore, for sure.
