Oh, how the color blue doth shine so bright,
As if the sky itself hath taken flight.
And yet, ’tis not the only thing to see,
For lo, a pair of lovers now be.

Two men, whose hearts beat as one,
Their love, like the sun, cannot be undone.
A lion doth watch them from afar,
As they embrace, like two shining stars.

And in their hands, a simple book,
A tale of love, with each page they took.
For in this world, where hate doth reign,
Their love doth shine, like a bright blue stain.

And though some may judge and scorn,
Their love, like the lion, cannot be torn.
For love is love, and it doth not care,
If the color be blue, or the object be rare.

So let us celebrate these two,
And all the love that they do.
For in this world, where hate doth grow,
Their love, like the color blue, shall forever flow.
