Oh, wondrous hue of emerald green,
That doth adorn the forest scene,
Wherein doth dwell a creature rare,
A noble stag with antlers fair.
But lo, two men doth catch my eye,
Who doth in love and passion lie.
Their bond doth shine as bright as gold,
A tale of love that doth unfold.
Amidst the trees and verdant glades,
Their love doth blossom like the shades
Of green that cloak the woodland floor,
And echoes of their love doth soar.
Their love is like a precious gem,
A diamond bright that doth condemn
Those who would seek to cast it down,
For love like theirs doth wear a crown.
So let their love be like the green,
A symbol of life and love serene,
And let the stag, with antlers high,
Bear witness to their love on high.
