Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
Like emerald gems in the morning light.
And how the graceful swan doth glide,
In waters deep and far and wide.

But what of the object, plain and true,
A simple book, with pages new?
It holds within its binding tight,
The stories of love and endless might.

And two men, dear friends to thee,
Their love as pure as love can be.
Their hearts entwined, their souls as one,
Their bond unbroken, forever begun.

For love knows not of color or kind,
But only of the heart and mind.
And so, let us celebrate their love,
As bright as the sun, as pure as the dove.
