Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
As emerald leaves dance in the sun’s light,
A hue that doth soothe and calm the soul,
And bringeth peace to those who feel the toll.
And lo, a creature doth catch my eye,
A majestic lion, fierce and spry,
Whose golden mane doth flow like flame,
A king of beasts, with none to tame.
But what is this, a random thing,
A simple book, with pages to bring,
A world of knowledge, a world of joy,
A treasure trove, no gold could employ.
And yet, two men doth share a love,
A bond so strong, sent from above,
Their hearts entwined, forevermore,
Their passion pure, and nothing more.
For love doth come in many forms,
And none shall judge, nor raise their horns,
So let us celebrate this love,
And bless these men, from up above.
