Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
As emerald leaves dance in the light.
And with this hue, a creature doth appear,
A noble lion, proud and without fear.

But lo! What object doth catch my eye,
A simple book, its pages open wide.
Two men doth sit, their eyes locked in love,
Their hearts entwined, a gift from above.

Their love doth shine, like sun upon the grass,
A bond so strong, it doth forever last.
And though the world may judge and scorn,
Their love doth triumph, as sure as morn.

So let the green of envy fade away,
And let the lion’s roar lead to a brighter day.
For love doth conquer all, in every hue,
And in these two men, it shines anew.
