Oh, how the color green doth shine so bright,
Like emerald jewels in the morning light.
And lo, a creature doth catch my eye,
A mighty lion, fierce and nigh.
But what is this, a trinket so fair,
A golden ring, beyond compare.
Two men doth hold it, with love so true,
Their hearts entwined, in a bond anew.
Their love doth bloom, like flowers in spring,
A love that doth make the heavens sing.
For though society may frown and sneer,
Their love doth conquer all, without fear.
So let the green of envy fade away,
And let the lion’s roar lead the way.
For love is love, in all its hue,
And nothing in this world can undo.
